LIFE ON THE HAWKESBURY (2023)
This collection was painted for an exhibition at The Cottage in Brooklyn, just north of Sydney. Many are small pieces - postcard sized - and as such form part of a smaller series called ‘Postcards from the Hawkesbury’. All of these paintings, however, are the result of a few hours spent on The Riverboat Postman, a wonderful cruise on the Hawkesbury River with the local postie as he delivers mail to those who live on the river and are therefore unable to get their mail delivered the way most of us do!
