Watercolour paintings that capture memories and inspire wanderlust

‘If you could fill each square on a calendar with a picture instead of a number, and if each picture

could show clearly some event or landscape or recollection or dream that made each day

memorable, then after a long time and from a great distance the hundreds of pictures

might rearrange themselves to form surprising patterns.’ Gerald Murnane

 When I first read that quote, I wondered if it might be a way of making us realise that each day brings something special;

or perhaps it’s about reminiscing, a means of seeing the greater picture as we’re nearing the end of the road.

Perhaps it’s neither of those things, but I’ve always liked it.
